Lisa BLONDEAU - Owner Manager
Over the past 15 years, Lisa has worked hard to build a successful travel business with her sister Di, and in doing so has established a good rapport with both her leisure and corporate clients. Although Lisa’s personal forte is European destinations, what she really loves to do is to work with her clients to find out what it is that they really want to do with their travel and then to ‘scout’ around to come up with the best possible options.
A big part of her passion for travel is coming home again to share with others what she has seen and the adventures she has been on. Having travelled extensively with her family she is also able to give practical advice to clients on holidaying with children and teenagers.

Di lives and breathes the travel business and over the years of working with Lisa has always focused on providing the very best of service to her clients. She has a great thirst for knowledge, loves exploring new travel options and destinations and always keeps up with the latest in the travel industry. What this means for her clients is that they know their travel plans are always very well researched and they always receive the most up-to-date advice. The affinity she shares with her clients is always evident in the lengths she goes to in planning their journey … in fact, her clients often gather things to show her on their return!

Kirsty FRANKLIN
If you are thinking about corporate travel, Kirsty will be your main contact with Travel About. Not only is she very thorough in her dealings with her clients, she has a very good knowledge of the corporate travel market and how to negotiate her way through it. Being a physically active person who enjoys the adventurous side of life, Kirsty thrives on the fast pace of corporate travel and the fact that something different arises every day.
There’s also an added bonus for Kirsty’s corporate clients - a background in accountancy - which means all of her travel records are accurate, up-to-date and completely accountable.

Alison DOWNEY

 If you need to talk domestic corporate travel, you need to talk to Alison ... fast! She loves the fast pace and busy demands of the corporate market and she always rises to the challenge of last minute travel plans or those unavoidable itinerary changes. She works hard to maintain the respect of her clients and takes pride in her product knowledge and ability to secure the best deals.
On top of her corporate demands, it’s also hard to keep Alison away from those leisure bookings. From Calgary in Canada – her favourite holiday destination – to the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe and the US (Disneyland in particular), Alison’s got a depth of first-hand travel experience and know-how to draw on when assisting her clients in their own travel quests.
For Alison, it doesn’t always have to be about adventure ... a beach holiday where she can relax on the beach and immerse herself in a book sounds perfectly fine to her.

Jillian HUMPHRIS

Having spent time travelling and working overseas, Jillian found that she just couldn’t get travel out of her system when she returned home. So, the logical decision for Jillian was a career in travel consulting. In fact, she’s not quite sure what she loves more - sharing her travel experiences with people or sharing in other’s.
Jillian likes to get to know her clients to gain a really good appreciation of their travel desires and expectations, so she can put together an itinerary that will stay with them long after they return home. For Jillian, all destinations are favourites for a whole host of different reasons.
While her main focus is on leisure travel for individuals, Jillian enjoys all aspects of travel as she loves the diversity of people and destinations and being able to make a difference to her client’s travel experiences.
